Ice Box Canyon, Black Hills, SD. June 2013. This trail has another name that I can't remember, but we always called it Ice Box Canyon. It is behind and under Sylvan Lake, and I have hiked it many times in my life. Some parts are a trail, other parts are cement steps or climbing over rocks with handrails stuck into them. It's kind of a challenging hike, but always has a pleasant breeze blowing through it and nice cold water to stick your hot feet into. I'm so glad Cook and Ama got a chance to experience it!!
