27: A Geyser or Natural Hot Springs DONE!

Chico Hot Springs, Pray, MT. August 2010. This summer we all gathered for a few days at Chico, which is sort of the proverbial meeting place for our family (and has been for 4 generations - Cook's great grandpa came here in the 30's when it was still a hospital). As the resort gets built up, there is more and more to do at Chico, but the best part is still the water, which comes right out of the mountain. The water circulates continuously in and out of the pool, so they don't need to add any chemicals to it. There's a hot pool and a warm pool, but they're both warm enough to swim in year round.

Behind the lodge, the source stream winds through a little garden area. The water is hot and the stream is green and mossy...
