Sylvan Lake, Black Hills, SD. June 2013. Sylvan Lake is a beautiful, cold lake high up in the Black Hills that has lots of great rocks to climb and has a long trail that goes all the way around it. Gpa & Gma and the kids got so tired from hiking that they didn't even have the energy to go swimming in the lake!!
