North Dakota Hall of Fame. May 5, 2011. We went to the capitol today to get copies of the kids' birth certificates and stopped in at the North Dakota Hall of Fame. The kids could not possibly have been less impressed. They were much more interested in sliding back and forth on the long benches and playing in the rotating doors than looking at all the weird montage-style paintings of not-very-famous people. Oh well.
After that we went up to the 18th floor, which is the observation level. It has great 360-degree views and it is ridiculous how far you can see from up there. We looked for landmarks around town like Pizza Hut and the tall white cathedral.
Then the kids climbed on the Sakakawea statue. Not sure if you're supposed to do that.
