59: A Dinosaur Site DONE!
Dakota Dinosaur Museum, Dickinson, ND. July 26, 2010. We took a day trip to Dickinson with Grandma to see the dinosaur museum, but we ended up also seeing a bunch of cool stuff along the way. It was a crazy fun day.
There were lots of dinosaur bones that had been found in North Dakota and eastern Montana, and also fossilized shells and water creatures from when this area was an inland sea. It also had a really awesome rock exhibit with stones and minerals from all over the world. Cook's favorite thing was the phosphorescent rock room. The museum was small, just the right size to be doable with kids. Also, they had 15-million year old poop. So cool!
