Petrified Wood Park, Lemmon, SD. June 2013. This was a roadtrip stop on the way to the Black Hills. Cook and Ama really enjoyed climbing on all of the conical structures made out of petrified wood. Grandma said that the majority of the petrified wood in the park was found within 10 miles of Lemmon, which is remarkable if you've seen the place because there is A LOT!!!
