Chico Hot Springs Resort, Paradise Valley, MT. August 2010. Not only is Chico a natural hot springs (see #27), but it is also known for being a haunted place. Many visitors and employees (including Cook's uncle Spencer) have reported seeing the ghost of a "Lady in White," who is supposed to be Percie Knowles, the wife of the man who built the lodge in 1900. After he died in 1910, she took over the business and turned it into a hospital. From what I've read, Room 349 is the place where the most stuff happens, like such classics as the chair that always moves to face the window. We'll have to get that room next time!!
Spencer saw Percie in the dining room once when he worked there as a waiter. I took multiple pictures of Cook in the doorway where Spence saw her, hoping something mysterious or spooky would show up in the picture. It didn't. Anyway, the poolside restaurant is named after her (Percie's Poolside Grille) and they've got her picture up on the wall (so all of us ghost hunters know what we're looking for?!).
