Our House, Minneapolis, MN. June 2012. There are only four mints in the entire country, and unfortunately we don't live even remotely close to any of them, so we had to compromise a little on this one.
This particular mint is growing next to our front steps, so that late in the summer when it's tall you brush up against it when coming or going and it smells really nice. The rest of the time, the kids graze on it, which is fabulous and keeps their breath minty fresh! The mint is part of our edible yard - the goal is to get to the point where the whole yard is edible. It's a yummy goal!
