Midtown Farmers Market, Minneapolis, MN. August 2012. This farmers market is on Saturdays really close to our house. It's obviously been going all summer, but this was the first (and only) time we went all season. There was fun live music playing, and Chris and I had the best tamales ever! The kids opted out of lunch and weren't too enthused overall. I think it was just a grumpy day.
Ama got a locally-made strawberry ice pop thingy and painted a lovely picture of a rainbow in the kids' booth.
Chris bought some cheese curds because the samples were squeaky, but was sad that the ones he got weren't as squeaky as the sample ones. They are still in the fridge:(
The farmer's market had a really amazing variety of produce for sale, and also ceramics and jewelry and stuff. It was a nice outing!
